4:13 PMMUSIC REVIEW
So here is the music review I've been meaning to do! I'll separate this by band so it looks neater.
Rise Against - They recently came out with an album actually, called The Black Market. I've fallen in love with "I Don't Want To Be Here Anymore," especially the official music video, which has facts that flash on the screen similar to those in the official video for "Re-Education (through Labor)".
Beartooth - They are a group which includes Caleb Shomo, former lead singer for Attack Attack!. I saw their song, "Beaten in Lips" in a YouTube advertisement, and I had to go and listen to the full song. It's a pretty intense song, but I like how meaningful the lyrics are.
Sleeping with Sirens - I've been stuck on their song "Congratulations" for a while now. One day I'll get it out of my head for a little while... maybe. Really, I just like the music video and catchy beat.
Her Bright Skies - I actually found this band by looking for a cover of "DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love". I didn't look too much into them until I started getting bored of songs (don't get me wrong, I still Like them, but hearing them everyday at least 10 times gets old). Then I started getting REALLY into the song "Little Miss Obvious" and even made a picture of the lyrics. I dunno, something about it just made me love it. Then there's also "Ghosts of the Attic": extremely good but didn't stick as well for me.
Famous Last Words - I don't remember how I found them, but the lead singer's voice has a helluva range and it's awesome. I would recommend "The Show Must Go On" (I probably found this one from Avenged Sevenfold's "A Little Piece of Heaven" in all honesty) and "Council of the Dead".
The Nearly Deads - I was looking for more bands with female lead singers, and I found a bunch! This is pretty high on the list. "Fact and Friction" is really catchy and the music video is... interesting for lack of a better word. I didn't delve too far into their music, but I also liked "Never Look Back".
FINALLY, Icon For Hire - I've mentioned a lot of bands already, and here is the last one. They have really powerful lyrics with a catchy beat, if you ask me. Take "Get Well" for instance: amazing lyrics, but has an almost techno sounding opening/FAR in the background beat. I also really really liked "Make a Move".
Andddd, that should be where I stop.
See you in the next ranting post(maybe)!
