(...more like to waste my time.)
What's goin' on guys?
So I decided I wanted to have something to randomly blog every once and a while, so even if I don't have updates, I'll have pictures! Yes, that's the exciting thing I decided to do. I also figured that since I now have an excuse to read books a lot more often, I'll post a little blurb about them and whatnot. That'll be what I'll end with, in case I have any more updating to do.
And today is also an updating day! First things first: I am terrible at keeping up writing my story. Now, keep in mind, Journey is still in it's 'prototype stage' and there will be mistakes and plot holes. I will (hopefully) one day fix it up and make it better, and when I do so, I'll post about it. Until then, it will be the most annoying thing. I'll keep the original up here on the site, just in case I somehow lose the file or am writing from another computer.
Secondly: Today, my family and I took a little trip out to the beach and ate at Smashburgers, which was pretty good. I really want to walk to the park area and the beach eventually, but it's still a bit of a distance, so not until I get into shape. (Which I'm only kind of working on... I need to stop being lazy.)
Thirdly: I finally finished Eon and am waiting for Eona and various other books to come into my library so I can pick them up from hold. Eon was just pure amazingness. I started reading it, not knowing how I wouldn't be able to put the book down. It had the Chinese Zodiac animals set at different compass point and all were in a dragon form, AND each dragon gets it's own Dragoneye, which is just a person they choose to connect with and they can share power and bond together. If you like that stuff, READ IT!
Fourthly: Not sure if I've mentioned this before, but my favorite author is definitely Zilpha Keatly Snyder, who has a ton of books and I think the longest series kind of thing she has is a trilogy. And, by going on my library's website and searching her name, I found books I had never heard of by her. It made my day.
And finally (yes, it's finally ending): The picture today is actually my version of the book cover of The Coming of the Dragon. It has Norse mythology in it, and the king in the story is Beowulf. The main character is a boy called Rune who mysteriously washed up on the shore, and he goes every winter to weapons training, but is never good at it. Then someone awakens a dragon. Can you guess where it goes from here? So yeah. I also drew this after I did a final about 2 years ago, and I kinda like it! No, it's not traced. I just copied the style over (like eyed the lines and drew them kind of thing).
WOW, I'm rambling, so I'll see you all later. Peace.
